Beans are a vital part
of a fat-free diet because they are high in fiber and extremely low in
fat. They are rich in protein and vitamins and contain no cholesterol. Some studies have shown that beans can even lower
cholesterol levels.
Jack and
the Bean Soup is delicious and easy. We prefer the crock-pot
method of cooking when possible. No presoaking required.
Just add the 1 pound package of beans and the contents of the spice packet to
10 cups of
water.
Nothing
else to open, chop or measure. Our special blend of spices takes
the guesswork out of cooking a great pot of beans!
